El Salvador
Northern Central American Endemics
A journey through amazing scenery from the highest point of El Salvador at El Pital Reserve where you will have the chance to spot the astonishing Blue-throated Motmot to the lowland forests where White-bellied Chachalacas thrive, from a cloud forest surrounded by volcanoes where the Green-throated Mountain-gem hovers around to the urban enviroment that the Pacific Parakeets and Yellow-naped Parrots call home. Around 30 species either endemic or close to endemic to Northern Central America are among the winged beauties to be spotted around.
