My wife and I used to visit the area of Laguna Verde in Western El Salvador to birdwatch around the lagoon at the crater for many years. The lush surroundings and the symphony of bird songs always drew us back. Little did we know that some years later, we would own this little piece of heaven nearby.

From the very first moments back in 2021, we could see the potential of the place. The dense, green foliage, the sparkling lagoon, and the diverse bird species made it a sanctuary for nature lovers. Seeing the project gradually come true has been amazing.

It has been 3 years, and step by step, with a lot of sacrifice, we finally have it ready to welcome people who love birds, hummingbirds, and photography. We've created a haven where visitors can experience the tranquility and beauty of nature up close.

Each morning, as the sun rises over the lagoon, the air fills with the hum of hummingbirds and the songs of tropical birds. Our dream was to share this wonder with others, and we invite you to come and explore our beautiful hummingbird and bird paradise at Casa Colibrí - Apaneca.
